It’s Monday again, hope you had a great weekend!
A couple days ago I was going through my nail polish collection, weeding out shades I never wear, don’t like, have dupes of, etc. when I came across some stunning shades I kind of forgot about. The thing about having a 5,000+ bottle collection is, you don’t (well I don’t) remember about 95% of what you own! It’s hard to see them because they are stuffed to the brim inside drawers so I have to actually pull them out and even shake them up sometimes to see the color.
Barielle Falling Star, which came out in 2010 as part of the All Lacquered Up collection, was one of the shades I came across. I had a very strong urge to wear it and re-do my swatch photos, so here we are!
Falling Star is a medium marine blue with copper glitter. Even after all these years I have never seen another shade like it. It’s really stunning and still available!
It only takes two coats to get it completely opaque. The glitter disperses across the nail very evenly and it never looks clumpy at all. There is a good amount of it so it looks very obviously “there.” One coat of a top coat makes it nice and smooth. Blue and copper together? Yes please!
You can find this on the Barielle website and it’s $8.00.
Did you ever pick up Falling Star or is it still on your lemming list?
